Hello

You've done your research and have decided that a Shiloh Shepherd is the best fit for your family -- congratulations! Please make sure to read the information below, including our sample Sales Contract, Health Testing Requirements, and Spay/Neuter Agreement.

Please contact us for wait list estimates.

Puppy Placement

All puppies are evaluated between 7.5 and 8.5 weeks of age by an ISSA approved evaluator, and then matched based off of their Litter Evaluation Report (LER) and applications. Our goal with this is to make sure that each puppy is matched with the family that best suits their needs and enables both the puppy to thrive and the family to succeed with their new family member.

Our breeding program is geared around active companion dogs, and as such cannot guarantee any puppy produced from our program to succeed as a service dog or therapy dog. We are happy to work with individuals who are seeking a dog for service or therapy work, but these dogs will be sold as companions only.

We do not currently export pets outside of Canada and the continental US. Exceptions will be made for fellow licensed ISSA breeders or breeders in training to support their breeding programs. Purchase of breeding rights are only available for licensed ISSA breeders or breeders in training under mentorship of Pacific Wild Kennels or another ISSA breeder.

As of August 1, 2024, the US CDC has introduced new importation regulations to limit the import of dogs into the United States. Due to this, Pacific Wild Kennels and other Canadian breeders will not be able to export dogs under 6 months of age to the United States. At this time and until changes are made to these new regulations, Canadian born litters will have limited availability for US applicants and priority will be given to US based breeders, breeders-in-training, and breeding co-owners. Likewise, US born litters will have limited availability for Canadian applicants and priority will be for breeding homes.

Applications and Deposits

Please take the time to review our Sample Sales Contract, Health Testing Requirements, and Spay/Neuter Agreements before beginning your application. A deposit amount of $500 will be due no later than 2 weeks after puppies have been born and only from approved applicants.

As Shiloh Shepherds are still an uncommon breed with a limited gene pool, it's important for some pups from each litter to be available for breeding and further growing the gene pool. Due to that, preference is given to breeding homes who are fully committed to moving our genetics forward. Please contact us for more details on co-ownership options.

Our application is available online through this link as well as downloadable here - please complete in full and give as much detail as possible. The more information we have, the better our ability to determine whether a Shiloh Shepherd from our program would be a good fit for your family. Please note that the average wait time for a Shiloh Shepherd is 6-12 months. Feel free to reach out to us for more specific wait list estimates via email
